The Robin Hood Hotel

Visited the place with an old friend to have a bite to eat and have a couple of cold beers. When we went there, the place was just opening up for business and there was plenty of seating available, indoors and outside as well. The dining rooms are large, cosy and the outside area is also very nice. We placed our beer order at the bar with the bartender who mentioned that it was his first day in the job at the hotel. The food orders were sorted out at the table and were brought out quite quickly. The pizzas were good and the gentleman waiting on us provided a takeaway box for the leftover pizza. Would be nice to visit this place when it's busy to see and experience the ambience of the place... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointingly we can’t seem to get a medium-well steak on two separate occasions - months apart! Tonight it was undercooked twice and the third time it was returned it was crucified & had a putrid smell. Not great when I’m hungry, heavily pregnant with iron deficiency & an impatient toddler. Great wait staff. It use to be the place to get the perfect steak - what’s happened?!

Amazing! Want something special that stands out? Robin Hood Hotel has it!!! The Hood burger was incredibly filling and amazing taste. So much options , I found it hard to settle on just one item. Staff provided an exceptional service with a keen eye for responsible service of alcohol that I appreciated to see. Other hotels near Port rush road could never come close to this hotels standards and practices which are visible at any random time . Well executed services.

Deposit was paid to book a table of 14 for family members 70th lunch at 12:30. Family member called to confirm no time limit on the table and was told all good through to 9pm. Arrived to be told a larger area, including our table had been booked for a group of 25 and at 2:30 and we would have to move when they arrived and they would relocate us to another area. We were approached at 2:30 when several people were still mid meal and told time was up. Only 3 people had arrived for the other booking and were sitting at other tables for their booking. People rushed their meals and we relocated to another area - no assistance from staff to bring other tables together - me and my wife did it. Was over an hour before more people arrived and the table we were at was put to use. No apologies from staff for the inconvenience or thanks for sorting ourselves with the new tables. Disappointing considering the amount of money spent across the group. Beer garden was nice. Food was okay. Service as above. Expected more.

Got the burger - it was small and there was a scoop of chips with it and that's it for $26. No salad, no meat patty that fit the size of the bun etc. My coffee cup had a huge black crack in it which I didn't notice until I'd half drunk it. There were no carparks available and the place was overcrowded so extremely noisy. First and last time going there.
